   Nothing ground breaking or revolutionary here, nice hotel that's priced better than most in the area. Very close to the EST Shuttle stop, and directly across the street is a parking lot owned by Dow Villa. You can park there if you don't stay at their hotel if you go and ask. 

Independence:

1. Independence Inn
   Jim is the owner, maintenance staff, and chef. He may have hiker barrels in the office depending on the season. He provides shuttle to/from Onion Valley (Kearsarge Pass) and will let you do laundry. Cooks a "world famous" breakfast that is pretty stellar.
